Paintball jungle
Posted in 1 on May 28, 2009 by paintballwackjobPaintball jungle located in Vallejo California. One of the finest paintball arenas I have gone to in a long time. Paintball jungle also known as the San Francisco Hornets, a PRO paintball team. The paintball jungle consists of Four bunkers, named, Airplane bunker, Fort Davis, Splat H.Q., and the best one of them all Hornets nest. You can see a image of them at this website. http://www.paintballjungle.com/pages/jm.html. Paintball jungle has four bunkers three speed ball course and one air ball. All four bunkers are for Capture the flag games, speed ball is usually friends that want to challenge each other. But there is random people playing. Air Ball one of hardest games yet, trying to hide without getting hit with bouncing paint and trying to seek out the enemies, also known as Elimination.
Paintball jungle has a free gun give away everyone Sunday, they also have little give always such as 500 paintballs a paintball weekly magazine. Every weekend there is a pizza truck that sells pizza for 5 dollars which is cool because there is no place around there to get food, endless you walk at least 1 mile to the 7/11. Some of the prices if you shoot one of the hornets in a regular game, Once I shot magic carpet bob one of the owners of paintball jungle. When I shot him I came to him after the game and got two free tickets that enter me In the free gun give away. Magic Carpet bob is Cool the hornet team is cool. One day I want to play pro-paintball. Here is the website for Paintball jungle I suggest you all go there because it a very good field they are very nice people.

Does it hurt?
Posted in 1 on May 28, 2009 by paintballwackjobDoes paintball hurt? I would say paintball is not for kids under 10. When at a paintball course I would recommend wearing, jeans, heavy jacket and shoes you do not care about getting dirty. On a paintball field, it could be muddy from the past rains and some courses have swamps that you could or have to truck through it running from someone. Most of the field are wide open areas with a lot of brush to hide in. Wearing a jacket that will not ripe if tugged on. Wearing jeans will help if and when you are running through grasses you do not know what is in them, Such as ticks or bugs that you would like to see on you. Lets talk about getting hit with paintballs. Getting hit could turn where you got hit into a raspberry or even a huge burse. Most paintball fields make you buy paint for the field fee to get into. Then there are people that bring there own paint, Some people Freeze there paintballs which is very deadly. A Frozen paintball can crack ones protective mask and give you some big lumps. I have yet to be hit with a frozen paintball. I’m not trying to scare you, paintball is one of the most fun sports there is.
paintball And alittle history
Posted in 1 on May 19, 2009 by paintballwackjobThe history of the paintball gun begins in the early 1970s, when it was used as a tool for marking trees and livestock. Charles Gaines, Hayes Noel and Bob Gurnsey were the first people to think up a new way to use the guns. In 1981 twelve of there friends where the first group to recreational to a paintball game. They used guns from the Nelson Paint Company on a field measuring over 100 acres and using no safety equipment or boundaries. One of the first names given to the sport that we now call paintball was “The National Survival Game.” This name reflects the nature of paintball as it was first played – a small group of friends getting together in the woods to play total elimination games. Sometimes the friends broke into teams to play each other, but most paintball games were “every man for himself.” Over the years, paintball has become more Team depended. Because more people were playing at one time, using teams became the standards. Different game variations began to form. The most popular paintball game became “capture the flag”, but offensive/defensive scenarios also were popular. There are different types of paintball such as Capture the flag, most commonly played, there is Speed Ball, where its either group of friends or random people on a small field and trying to eliminate each other. There is Air Ball, Air ball is were there is blow up obstacles making it very hard to hit or opponent because the paint bounces a lot. Paintball is a very dangerous sport if not wearing protective gear you can be seriously hurt.

Does Gear and Gun matter?
Posted in Paintball on May 12, 2009 by paintballwackjobHello everyone, my name is nick I’m going to be telling you about the interesting world of Paintball. I would say paintball is for guys in there mid 20 to there 30s or so. To be good at paintball you need skill, it doesn’t matter what gun you have or what gear you have. When I started paintball I had a semi-auto sypder, you all know its not the greatest gun but I still got plenty of kills with it. Now they have came out with the Dye Dm9 which can range from 1,000 to 2,000, and regular players aren’t going to pay for that unless they go everyday. Most pros should have something like that or better because they do it for a living. Tell me what you think.
